Wednesday, December 16, 2009 DC Kids Count will release its 16th annual report card and fact book on the well-being of children and families in DC. The release will take place at the Urban Institute, 2100 M Street, NW 5th Fl.
The D.C. KIDS COUNT Collaborative for Children and Families consists of public and private organizations using research to support advocacy for changes in human, social, and economic policies and practices of government, the private sector, families, neighborhoods, and individuals. Its mission is to fight for the interests and well-being of children and families, and to ensure their healthy development and future in D.C.
